Dr. Johanna Ospel is a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology fellow at the Department of Radiology and Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary, Canada. She received her PhD from the Amsterdam University Medical Centre in the Netherlands. Her main research interest is imaging and treatment of acute ischemic stroke. Dr. Ospel is the core lab lead of the ESCAPE-MeVO trial, and was a core lab member of the ESCAPE-NA1 trial and the PRove-IT study. She is leading the ESMINT-EYMINT research and survey committee and enjoys collaborating with international colleagues and friends to improve stroke care globally.
